Balances are checkpointed as they change. Retention starts the moment tokens arrive — no deposit, no staking contract, no lockup.

The configured share of trading fees is routed to the Fee Vault. If volume stops, the memory stops writing.

The vault closes, settled fees convert through the canonical route, and SKYHY is acquired. The acquisition is recorded onchain.
